Jealousy has always been a issue for me and for my boyfriend. I have come to the conclusion that jealousy usually occurs because of what has happened in your past. I'm a firm believer in "your past makes you who you are today." Some of us have overcome our flaws while others of us still live with it. My boyfriend and I have different schedules and we spend most of our days apart and were constantly making false accusations towards one another because we are insecure. Where does this insecurity come from? There's only one answer: Our previous experiences. I had an ex-boyfriend who would cheat on me and I was too scared to say anything and he had an ex-girlfriend who never wanted to spend time with him and would cheat as well. Jealously always comes from a place that we are insecure about. I'm scared to be cheated on and so he is. You just have to reassure one another that there is no other fish in the sea that you want and you wouldn't ever consider doing him dirty. It's not in your nature! |

I completely agree with you on this one. I am currently having jealousy issues with my boyfriend. He feels that I can find someone better than him. But I always tell him that there isn't anyone else for me. And when I say I tell him...I have to remind him at leats 10xs a week. It drives me crazy!! It's gotten to the point where he doesn't want me talking to guys, even as just friends. I feel like I cant choose me own friends. At times I wanna break up with him but than I remember the first day I met him and than I fall back in love all over again. It's crazy...I tell ya... |

its best to talk things through with your partner and ensure them and have an agreement, to make them realise there is nothing to worry about. Jealousy can ruin relationships! |
