| | Subject: Truth | Posted: February 21, 2008 @ 1:35 PM | | He allows me to bear my truths
Ugly and unaware
On my shoulders
Nothing but truth
Tearful and overwhelmed
Allows me to bear my truths
Of yesterdays events
Of the things I resent
Nothing but truth
Accosted and ashamed
Bear truths on my frame
As long as it’s truth
See he understands that
Nothing is worse than changing the person
Without changing the problem
And without truth
How can you solve them?
See
He allows me to bear my truths
Soul scarred
Yet dreams unmarred
Truth
Ugly and unaware
On my heart
Weighting me down heavily
Yet
I bear these truths
To be self evident
Of the years and tears
I have spent
Of yesterdays events
Of the things I resent
With him I don’t have to pretend
And that’s the truth
