OK So i have a question....my boyfriend and I want to plan on having children in the near future, but my question is, should I lose weight before we attempt to have children? Also, does anyone have any advice for being overweight and pregnant? like do I still gain weight or not?

I was over weight and pregnant and it wasn't easy. When you are over weight and pregnant you are REALLY at risk of hypertension, diabeties and deseases of that nature. My whole pregnancy I was considered as ''At Risk''. But not all plus size pregnancies are at risk. Consult with your Dr. before you decide on having a baby and if its the right time for you.

I am currently in that position at 36 wks pregnant. Although things are going great for me so far, they do consider you at risk. I am at risk because of my cervix issues other than that, I don't have any issues.

You just have to be carfeful about gaining too much weight though. Best of luck.

I've been overweight for all 3 of my pregnancies and they've all been healthy and fine pregnancies. Only thing I can say about my current pregnancy is that this one is much more tough on me cause right now I'm 33 weeks preggo (8months), and chasing my 18 month old son around and I think being overweight has made it that much more challenging, but over all I'm doing great!!

Plus I really didn't gain any extra weight that I didn't loose all right away afterwards, BUT my weight did seem to shift around, not to mention boobies going south bound, lol.
