My son still have diarrhea from the mac & cheese . I call his doctor and she saids that there's nothing she can give him. I wanna know if it's something I can do to thick up. |

If you don't already have it get him some Pedialyte. Don't do anything heavy like milk until it passes. Pedialyte is great. I haven't been without in in the fridge since 1999! Lots of luck. |

2nd you should keep him hydrated like the ladies suggested already.
3rd maybe he is like my daughter and is allergic to milk products. She can have them, but they give her diarrhea. I have to watch how much of them she has in a day because it can cut her loose for days otherwise. A trick I have learned with her is that when I serve her milk products I also serve her crackers or a slice of bread with them. That helps keep her from having diarrhea as bad.

My son got sick one time and after 3 days of diarrhea his ped. put him in the hospital. I do not believe there is nothing a dr can give your child to help this problem. It sounds to me like you need to try another dr. ASAP! It just isn't normal!! |
| | | | | | Subject: Diarrhea! | Posted: March 13, 2009 @ 5:00 PM | | | Hopefully since the last time I responded, he's gotten better. Just wanted to say that I wasn't clear on how long it had been. If it was a week, then Ms.cdbene is absolutely right. Sorry about the misunderstanding. |
