Wondering if anyone has been successful in using home workout dvd's? I joined a gym a couple of yrs ago, went consistently and gained weight! i think bc i was using more weights than cardio, i moved so i rather save money n time by working out at home.
I want to lose some weight but cant seem to pick a dvd, there are so many!
I was thinking jillian michaels?
Any input ?

They can work, but the problem with them is that since you're doing the exercise on your own, you can be tempted to just slack off or not do the exercises properly becuase noone is there watching you, which leads to you not losing weight.
I think the best thing is joining a fitness group where you have a personal or group trainer to push you and ensure that you are doing the right things.
