| | Subject: Dining room change | Posted: May 22, 2008 @ 9:31 AM | | A month ago I wanted a change in my dining room - my partner wasn't on board with my vision but she agreed to let me try it.
We have four smaller sized round tables with table clothes - same color family (muted burnt red/orange) -different designs - each table can seat four people. Each table has four matching chairs but they all sixteen chairs do not match - same family of style but not identical. We have an antique store here in Atlanta where everything is $99 - we had so much fun shopping there and the owner was eager to get rid of some stuff so we got some great deals.
I am trying to bring my Mother's buffet from Augusta but transporting that one piece would be ridiculous so I have to deal with the tables and chairs for now.
I put one focal piece of artwork on the wall - that has similiar colors - I think it makes the room look great. |
