Hubby and I are thinking of remodeling our bathroom and making it more usable; we have the smallest bathroom I have ever seen. We are thinking of removing the tub and change it to a walk in shower, replacing the hideous white tile that shows everything with something else and replacing the sink. I saw this sink and really liked it. What do you girls think:

One of my concerns is the splash factor so I am going to a store in my area that carries it so I can take a closer look.

that is cute, but very trendy........in a few years you would have to replace it again. What about a pedastal sink?

I know, I am concerned about that fact too. We currently have a pedestal and want to maybe have a wall hung unit so it will make the bathroom seem a little bit more roomy. How about this one:

Earlier I saw a sleek and modern pedestal sink. I am going to look for it and post a picture.

Thanks . I love HGTV. My husband gets so annoyed that I watch it so much but I've gotten a lot of ideas from them.

HGTV has a relatively new show called Save My Bath that might give you some good ideas. From the ones I've seen, the host/designer is pretty eclectic in the types of sinks she chooses for the remodels, so it might be worth checking out an episode or two.

I'm finishing up a bathroom redo at the moment, and though I have a quite small bathroom, I just got rid of the wall sink (too public restroom style for me!) and put in a pedestal. However, I really like the style that Hobbyt posted, and the sink in the second link in your last post.

One thing - just to be Ms. Boring Practicality for a moment, if you remotely think that you might sell your house at some time in the future, you might want to consider a style that most people can relate to. I love modern/contemporary, but I still found myself looking at your first pick, trying to figure out how it would work! If you think you're in your final home, then I wouldn't think too much about the reaction of future buyers.

It's a nay for me, Brenda...sorry - it doesn't look user friendly. LOL

It is something about it I just don't like.
