Didn't someone volunteer to be an administrator for the site a few months ago? I think that one of the main problems (IMO) with CC is that if seems like there is no one maintaining the site on a day to day basis. On most of the other forums I've been on there are multiple moderators/admins to keep things in order, deal with problems, update etc.

I don't think we need moderators, besides moderating is kind of a pain in the butt if you are one - everyone comes running to you with all their complaints and 99% of them are unjustified you have to sit there and sift through the junk to find the real issues.........
not to mention the fact that we were able to moderate ourselves for years, because we respected each other, then we lost that common respect because of trouble makers in our midst and a rat......Candace didn't need to deal with stuff until the past couple of years.....and I believe that problem is gone so now we just need to rebuild........

| | | | | | Subject: Has curvychick died????? | Posted: November 11, 2009 @ 9:52 AM | | I was a regular on here for several years. I posted pictures of my kids on this site and that is a big deal to me. I don't just post their pictures everywhere.
I enjoyed talking to everyone and loved hearing ghost stories and helping someone decide what shoes to wear with this outfit. It was a great time.
The main reason I quit coming on here is that nobody cared if I was here anymore or not. I felt like SOME of the newer members were to busy picking topics apart and finding a fight in everything. It got to where I felt like I was defending myself.
And lets face it nobody wants to defend themselves. I also felt like nobody cared if my but looks big in these pants or my baby lost a tooth or finally got potty trained. Those were things that mattered to me and excited me.
There has been a lot of good advice that has come from this site. And there are a lot of great women I have met due to this site. I would love to meet more of you face to face and maybe someday I will.
For this site to come back and everyone feel comfortable again would be a great thing. And I am sure it can happen. But it is going to take a lot of work.
Another thing I loved was the Secret Sister and Secret Santa. It was great giving and getting things in the mail from someone that you didn't even know. And it was fun trying to figure out who sent it. But a few spoiled that by not sending things.
There use to be a trust and understanding with everyone. Where we actually cared about each other like a sisterhood. Now I feel like it is a bunch of teenagers fighting for attention.
This is JMHO feel free to agree or disagree.
