If you want to keep up with the SS you have than that is wonderful.However, I have had to many SS drop out, or unahappy with who they have or who has them. There is not enough SS to reassign everyone which would mean some would have to have 2 SS, thats to much to ask anyone.... Not to mention its a lot of work to get SS assignments out and to put the effor into that for a second time to have people dop the same I just don't know....I am very disapoined, some people were more concerned with what they were getting rather than what they were giving. I could go on and on about this and what went on. Just know I tried my hardest to keep SS exchange alive and going! |

And this is the reason I did not become a SS this year. It seemed like when it first started a few years ago everyone was so excited to join in. And for one reason or another one by one they started to lose intrest. Then it became more of a what did I get instead of what can I send or do to brighten a day.
One thing this has done for me is taught me that sometimes it is good to think about what you can do for someone else to brighten their day and not expect anything in return.
Maybe take doughnuts or cookies and set them on the breakroom table.
I like to send my Mother and Girlfriends stuff in the mail just because I can.
There are lots of ways to brighten someone's day.
The funny thing is when you don't expect anything back in return, that is when you will get the best thing back in return.

I understand that we all are having a difficult time but I think just an email or ecard would brighten someone's day. So sorry it didn't work out but dont get down on yourself you did an awesome job. |
