| | Subject: Places to Make Wish Lists | Posted: December 11, 2007 @ 8:38 AM | | I thought we would start a thread of places to make wish lists....since it is a question on the application. It is an excellent way to show your Secret Sister things you like, or want. Even if they don't get it there they still have a better idea.
Amazon.com
Barnes and Nobel
Aveda - I just discovered this when I was looking for a new hair brush
Wal*Mart
Target
Bed Bath and Beyond
Home Depot
Lowes
I know there are others but I don't want to monopolize the thread. |

If you havent used it, it's ebay minus all the hassle of bidding. |
| | | | | | Subject: Places to Make Wish Lists | Posted: December 16, 2007 @ 4:51 PM | | | I love ebay express. Some times you can find stuff on there cheaper than they are going for in the auctions. |

Isnt it great? I just bought the cutest necklace there for $6. Thats with shipping included.
The only downside is that you'd have to keep updating your wish list because the stuff comes and goes, but I still thinks its cool. |
| | | | | | Subject: Places to Make Wish Lists | Posted: December 18, 2007 @ 11:37 AM | | FindGift.com.
There you can make a wish list of ANYTHING from the internet. It's basically a gift registry. You then add a link to your Links bar and anything you find ANYWHERE on the net, you click on the link and it allows you to add it to your registry. It's great for random places you find on the net that you want to let people know about but don't have a wish list feature. |
| | | | | | Subject: Places to Make Wish Lists | Posted: December 18, 2007 @ 12:29 PM | | | The only thing that I suggest is if you are going to make a wish list keep in mind that we have a $25 limit. It is pointless to put $35 and $50 items on your list if we are not allowed to spend that much. Although if you are putting them on there for other people besides curvy chicks I can understand why you would put them on there. Just keep in mind that you probally won't be getting them from us. |

Since we all know what the limits are, it is safe to assume that a list that includes items over $25 is not limited to Secret Sisters. I, for one, don't make separate lists for separate occasions. As the year goes on and I think of something I want, I put it on my FindGift.com list. That way, when occasions come up, my friends and family only have to check out the list. I don't have to direct them toward specific websites or give long, drawn out descriptions of an item.
As you said within your message, we are not supposed to spend more than the limit. My particular list has things of varying prices. Obviously, my $250 Wii request would not be directed to you. |
