I need a bit of help with a book I am trying to find; Woman on the Edge of Time by Marge Piercy. I am actually looking for the French translation of this book and since I am no good with the internet I was wondering if you could give me some directions?
I know it has been translated, I tried Amazon but could not find this title.
Any idea?

Is there a large bookstore in France that would have a website you could order from? Or do you have a friend in France who can get it from a bookstore and send it to you? Also, did the title change with the French translation . . .maybe try searching "La Femme dans la Bord du Temps" or similar?
I know in the U.S. you can usually walk into a Barnes and Noble or Borders bookstore and have them order about any book for you. Is there a store in the U.K. that would order it?

I have looked at the same websites as you.
Anyway I am going home (in France) in a couple of weeks time so I will try my luck in a few book stores, I might get lucky !
I will read this book even if it kills me !LOL
I just find it really difficult to get into this book so I thought that maybe in French it might be a tiny bit easier... pause .. maybe not

The publisher is Ballantine Books but they are under random house....
