WORST:

The Princess Bride (movie got rid of my favorite scene!)
Lestat
The Other Boleyn Girl

OH! I agree whole heartedly about Lestat...that was barfarama big time. I appreciated Aaliyah in her costumes but overall the movie sucked. It was an insult to Lestat.

HAHAHA...so meant Queen of the Damned! Glad you caught on to what i was talking to...I get messed up because they combined two books into one movie! What ticked me off the most was the complete removal of the twins Maharet and Mekare who were crucial to the plot of the book!

I wish there was a word for when that happens! LOL. They should have NOT made that movie if they were going to make it so hokey and take out major people. Ugh!

I wish I were a movie producer...I wouldn't tolerate such crapola.

Ok, you be the producer, I'll be the script writer, and we'll both be casting directors!

The Good:

Well, as a Harry Potter freak I must say movies 1 and 2 stuck to the book the most and it was enjoyable.
Few small parts were modified but nevertheless it stuck to the books (Chris Columbus was the best director for the Harry Potter movies.) Speak was a TV made movie, but it was pretty good but it bothered me that she told her mother what happened to her rather than her art teacher.

The Bad:

Like I said, I'm a Harry Potter freak but I'm easily enjoyed by the movies. Movie 3 was the WORSE out of all of them. Movies 4 and 5 were pretty average and I'm afraid for the 6th and 7th movies. I heard they're making book 7 into two separate movies BUT it's going to directed by Daniel Yates I heard the rumor Steven Spielberg was going to direct it (if only )

I can't really think of any other book-movie in particular at the moment.

I just read THE MEMORY KEEPER'S DAUGHTER. I don't even know why they attempted to make movie. So I have to say that is the worse for me.

Before that I would say Waiting to Exhale and How Stella Got Her Groove Back.

WTE - Robin in the movie would have made better sense (other than dingy & young) if they gave her parent like in the book

HSGHGB - Whoopi Goldberg character was not in the book. So where did she come from?
